Joy can infuse your entire wedding process – from proposal through honeymoon and into your marriage – if you allow it – if you choose it.
Planning your wedding offers a golden opportunity to create lasting joy. A joyful wedding process paves the way for a joyful marriage.
Weddings change relationships. A joyful wedding opens the door to bringing lasting joy to your most cherished relationships.
Wedding planning tends to be a very stressful time. Understanding why that’s so and how to manage it can change the picture in an instant.
As Wedding Coaches, Joyce and Roger facilitate meaningful conversations with brides and grooms (and their friends and family if needed) about what a joyful wedding means to you, as well as potential blocks to that joy. And they explore ways to handle difficult conversations gracefully – in ways that enhance joy – so brides and grooms can maintain joy under pressure.
As non-denominational ordained ministers, Joyce and Roger help brides and grooms create the ceremony and vows that best speak their love and clarify their vision and intentions for their marriage. Because they are a stand for joy, they help brides and grooms make and hold their stand for joy.
As Wedding Celebrants, they perform joyful ceremonies as a couple because they believe there’s something special about couples marrying couples.
Joyce and Roger were married in February 2005, after meeting on Match.com. Their wedding planning included being sucked into the Wedding Vortex, navigating their first holiday season with Roger’s three kids, lots of unproductive shopping and frustration, a timeout to recover their senses, and a great coach/celebrant. Those in attendance still remark about the almost tangible feeling of joy alive in the room during their ceremony and reception, and throughout their wedding weekend.
